looking like a voodoo doll...

Feeling like a voodoo doll with pins in my writs, ankles, lower back, calves, neck, and head, I was wondering if my acupuncturist was getting even with his sensei... It’s not that it really hurts... I understand that tattoos are considerably more painful. I don’t have any, however, so I don’t know for sure... A couple of spots itched a little where the needles were... But an amazing thing happened... as soon as the needles were all in place, the heal pain was gone...albeit only temporarily. My doctor says it takes three treatments, each a week apart, for a more permanent relief.

Today, I walked about a mile and a half at lunch. The heal hurt some, but not enough to keep me from walking, like it had for the last two weeks. Also, I’m teaching the Kent classes tonight and tomorrow night... and I won’t be taking any ukemi (break-falls) for awhile, so I guess that leaves them off the hook, because I don’t ask them to do anything that I won’t do... but soon, very soon...;-)~

It might be interesting to get a picture of myself with the pins in, looking like a voodoo doll...
